Changing your life, one step at a time…
Hi 😊, Thanks for stopping by. This is my blog about healthy lifestyle and natural diet. I hope what you find here will be of interest to you or motivate you if you are thinking about or are in the process of making changes in your life.
I changed my lifestyle several years ago, mainly due to illness, stress and being overweight.
Through the process of changing my lifestyle, I gained a lot of experience that I have chosen to share. I write about my experiences with changing my lifestyle, including my diet. In that process, I built a recipe catalog with a focus on a healthy diabetes, gluten and lactose reduced diet, which you can find here.
I would like to say that I am not a trained expert in diet or lifestyle management. What I write is my own experience and knowledge that I have acquired through the process I have been through over the years. I have a basic education in the food industry and cooking, which gives me a good foundation to be able to create healthy food recipes. I have achieved quite good results for myself and especially my health with my diet, and the changes I have made in my lifestyle over the recent years, with a high focus on a natural diet, exercise and mental training. I hope that what I publish here can be an inspiration for others who want to make changes in their lives. I strongly believe that with a natural diet and sensible exercise, both mentally and physically, you can create positive changes in your life. But it is up to you, and only you, to do it. You can if you want. I have belive in you🫶.
The philosophy behind my recipes is that it should be a properly balanced diabetes diet, with natural ingredients, it should be tasty, be easy to make
with ingredients that are available in your regular grocery store, with the least possible use of semi-finished products, minimal gluten, lactose and sugar content. Through my travels around the world, I have gained experience that my blood sugar is much better when I eat southern European and Asian food, rather than traditional Scandinavian food, so my food will often be inspired by that experience in combination with the many good Scandinavian ingredients.
Make your own food, eat to your heart's content and find a dietary pattern that suits you, Food is a huge part of your life, don't let it be stress and a bad conscience, it should be a joy, an experience and enjoyment, and remember, exercise regularly, find the form of exercise that suits you so that you are able to get a steady workout over time.
I believe that with knowledge and the willingness to learn, you increase your chances of succeeding in achieving the goals you set.
Changing your lifestyle is difficult, doing it without enough knowledge, in a jungle of blogs, websites and news media is even more difficult, be critical of what you read and ask questions, check the information you get. If there is something that piques your interest try to google the information, owner/author, see what comes up. This will help you make the right choice for you. And last but not least, trust yourself.
I have been through some big changes in my life, I have chosen and choose to be open about what I have been through and share my experiences in the hope that it can inspire and help others. I am a positive person with a focus on living healthy, thinking positively, living life by looking forward and letting what lies behind be as educational experiences.
